AVAILABLE TO START RIGHT AWAY JOB POSITION IN PERSON - APPLICANT MUST BE LOCATED OR WILLING TO RELOCATE IN HILLSBORO, TEXAS We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and assist in promoting good oral health practices. Responsibilities: - Conduct dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Perform dental assessments and review patient medical history - Take and develop dental x-rays - Administer local anesthetics under the dentist's supervision - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar systems - Adhere to HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality - Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques for infection control - Assist the dentist during procedures as needed - Monitor and record vital signs during patient appointments Requirements: - Associate degree in Dental Hygiene or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred - State licensure as a Dental Hygienist -Prophy and sealant certified Is Must - CPR Card is must - Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining medical records - Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft - Strong knowledge of patient assessment and treatment planning - Understanding of medical coding for billing purposes - Experience in assisting with dental procedures is a plus - Ability to perform tasks with precision and attention to detail Join our team and contribute to improving the oral health of our patients while working in a supportive and professional environment.
