We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic, providing exceptional support to both the dental team and patients. This position requires a strong understanding of infection control practices, HIPAA regulations, and medical terminology, along with the ability to assist in various general dentistry procedures. Duties Assist dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols. Take and record vital signs of patients as necessary. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining patient confidentiality. Manage patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using appropriate medical coding systems. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Prepare treatment rooms for procedures, ensuring all necessary tools are sterilized and ready for use. Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
