Description

Established family-practice dentist with an excellent reputation in the Lawrenceville community, looking for a Part Time (Weds./Thurs./Fri. 8am-5pm), skilled Dental Hygienist to join our long term, friendly and dedicated team. One of our current hygienists has decided to enter retirement. This position could also be a Full Time position (Tues.-Fri.) if desired with benefits. Full time benefits include paid holidays and vacation time. If you are looking for an ethical and caring practice that respects you for your expertise, please consider applying. We are staying current on all the recommendations and guidelines to provide safe dental care to our patients while keeping our entire dental team safe and healthy as well. Appropriate PPE provided. Responsibilities: • Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis (1-hour length appointment), scaling and root planning (1 1/2 - 2hr length appointment), administer fluoride, take digital radiographs, and place sealants. • Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions electronically. • Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques. • Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards. Qualifications: • Registered Dental Hygienist license in the State of GA. • Current CPR certification. • Puts both their head and heart into their work and patient care. • Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care. • Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment. • Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices.
