Established family-practice dentist with an excellent reputation in the Lawrenceville community, looking for a Part Time (Weds./Thurs./Fri. 8am-5pm), skilled Dental Hygienist to join our long term, friendly and dedicated team. One of our current hygienists has decided to enter retirement. This position could also be a Full Time position (Tues.-Fri.) if desired with benefits. Responsibilities: • Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis (1-hour length appointment), scaling and root planning (1 1/2 - 2hr length appointment), administer fluoride, take digital radiographs, and place sealants. • Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions electronically. • Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques. • Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards. Qualifications: • Registered Dental Hygienist license in the State of GA. • Current CPR certification. • Puts both their head and heart into their work and patient care. • Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care. • Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment. • Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices.
