Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oral Surgeon to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performing a variety of oral surgeries and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to patients. As an Oral Surgeon, you will work closely with a team of dental professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities: • Perform complex oral and maxillofacial surgeries, including tooth extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, and treatment for facial trauma or injuries. • Diagnose and treat a variety of oral conditions, such as infections, tumors, cysts, and congenital abnormalities. • Collaborate with general dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. • Educate patients about their conditions and recommended treatment options. • Monitor patients post-surgery to ensure proper healing and manage any complications. • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards. • Stay updated with the latest developments in oral and maxillofacial surgery techniques, technologies, and best practices. • Ensure compliance with safety and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Qualifications: • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree. • Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. • Board certification or eligibility with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). • Valid state dental license. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients in an understandable manner. • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Compassionate and patient-focused demeanor. • Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Additional certifications in anesthesia or sedation. • Experience in managing complex oral and maxillofacial conditions. • Proficiency in using the latest surgical technologies and equipment.
