Requirements: 2 years of dental treatment coordinating experience. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to explain complex dental treatments understandably, and a commitment to patient satisfaction. Proficient in dental terminology, insurance procedures, and working with EagleSoft. Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient in managing multiple tasks. Job Description: Apex Dental Group seeks a dedicated Dental Treatment Coordinator to guide patients through their treatment journey, ensuring comprehensive care and a pleasant experience. This pivotal role involves communicating effectively, collaborating with the dental team, and maintaining detailed patient records while participating actively in team meetings. General Reception Duties: Communicate treatment plans, procedures, and associated costs clearly and empathetically to patients. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless execution of treatment plans and maintain ongoing patient care compliance. Display strong attention to detail, relationship-building, influencing, and excellent telephone/conversion skills. Assist patients in understanding insurance, financial options, and billing processes. Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft, our practice management software. Participate in all team meetings and prepare for the morning huddle. Engage in continuous education opportunities to expand skill sets. Scheduling: Coordinate and manage appointments, ensuring the smooth flow of patient treatments and necessary follow-up. Utilize scheduling templates to optimize doctor and hygiene schedules, emphasizing customer service. Communicate available openings, emergency times, and pre-blocks to the team. Leverage the NexHealth appointment communication app to reinforce patient commitment to appointment times. Financial: Collect due payments according to financial arrangements using practice payment technology. Manage schedules to meet established production, efficiency, and collection goals.
