The Dental Assistant will be instrumental in delivering a seamless, comfortable experience for every patient at Peace Haven Smiles. Key Duties Chairside Assistance with a Patient-First Focus: Provide skilled chairside support during procedures, using patient-friendly language and ensuring each patient understands and feels comfortable with each step of their treatment. Coronal Polishing Expertise: Perform coronal polishing with care and precision, enhancing the quality and comfort of each patient visit. Patient Preparation & Education: Prepare patients for treatments by explaining procedures clearly and warmly, addressing any questions to make them feel comfortable and informed. Sterilization & Sanitation Standards: Maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness and sterilization, creating a safe, organized treatment environment that reflects our dedication to quality care. Treatment Room Preparation: Efficiently organize and set up treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and materials are ready to optimize patient flow and appointment timeliness. Collaborative Care & Teamwork: Work closely with both clinical and front office teams to support an efficient daily schedule and contribute to a cohesive, positive work environment. Requirements Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program Current DA II certification, including coronal polishing certification X-ray certification Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a patient-focused practice Excellent communication skills and familiarity with dental software and scheduling systems Join our team where your skills will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of our patients!
