Position: Full-Time Business AssistantLocation: We, Garland, TX Why Join Us? What We Offer: Compensation: $16–$20/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Full-time (Monday–Thursday, with select Fridays based on practice needs) Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO) and Continuing Education (CE) reimbursement opportunities A supportive and growth-oriented workplace where your contributions make a difference Practice Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Morning Huddle on Mondays at 7:45 AM Business Team Meeting on Tuesdays at 7:45 AM Select Fridays: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM Your Role: As a Business Assistant focused on insurance verification and check-out, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring patients have a seamless experience. Key responsibilities include: Verifying insurance benefits and coverage prior to appointments Accurately calculating and explaining patient financial responsibilities Managing patient check-out, including collecting payments and scheduling follow-up visits Maintaining accurate insurance and billing records Communicating with insurance providers to resolve claims or benefit inquiries Assisting with general office tasks to support smooth operations Contributing to a positive, solutions-focused environment What We’re Looking For: A high school diploma or equivalent (required) Prior experience in dental insurance verification and billing (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational skills and attention to detail A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend (preferred but not required) Why You’ll Love It Here: We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where every team member can thrive.
