Looking to add full time Hygienist to our Cypress office, we have been in Cypress for 22 years. Offering Competive pay and bonus program Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm & two Fridays a month 7-12. 2+ years expierence preferred. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in the overall management of patient oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including children. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health. Take medical imaging as needed to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care activities in accordance with practice protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques. Implement infection control measures and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices, including pediatric dentistry. Skills Proficient in medical imaging techniques and equipment operation. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures. Familiarity with infection control standards and practices in a clinical setting. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment. Knowledge of medical records management and documentation standards. Familiarity with dental terminology essential for effective communication within the practice. Experience using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
