Description

We are a one doctor pediatric dental office seeking an expanded duties dental assistant. Candidates must be personal and professional with children and with parents. Candidates must also be a team player and be willing to learn and grow their skill set. Experience in pediatric dental assisting is preferred, especially experience and training in assisting chairside for operative and rubber cup prophylaxis. Customer service, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are key. Our patient care hours are 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 am -12:30 pm on Friday's. Please submit resumes through Dental Post. Qualities and Skills: -expanded duties certified dental assistant preferred -experience and training in rubber cup prophylaxis preferred -bilingual in English and Spanish preferred -personable and professional -enjoys working with children and parents -Dentrix/Dexis experience preferred -positive attitude -team player -willing to learn and grow your skill set -gets satisfaction from doing well at work -experience in pediatric dental assisting preferred but not required -customer service oriented -communication skills with patients, parents, and coworkers -strong attention to detail -able to multitask
