Description

We are looking for a professional, patient focused team member. Dental/periodontal and dental implant surgery experience are helpful. Courtesy, integrity and honesty are our core values. Knowledge/experience as a front desk is a plus! We will train the right individual. We want a motivated, long term team player who will grow with the practice. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during surgical procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take dental x-rays as well as 3D images - Prepare and maintain dental materials and supplies - Provide patient education on oral hygiene, dental implants, pre-operative and post-operative care - Perform dental and periodotnal charting as well as update patient medical records - Schedule patient appointments when needed - Assist with front desk duties, including answering phone calls and managing patient paperwork - Take and manage intra-oral scans for implant cases - Coordinate treatment planning with referring dentists and dental labs - Track implant cases from surgery to final restoration - Manage and order implant components, ensuring proper inventory levels - Communicate with patients about treatment timelines, follow-ups, and financial options Skills: - Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, such as Open dental, for medical and dental documentation - Familiarity with digital intra-oral scan - Proficiency in dental implants. - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members - Excellent attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and patient assessment - IV sedation experience
