Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, including reviewing patient medical histories, and taking vital signs. Create a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients, ensuring their concerns and needs are addressed. Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing, and fluoride treatments Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and the importance of their recare appointments. Assist in the identification of early signs of oral health issues such as gum disease and cavities, and communicate findings to the patient and dentist. Document patient treatments and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Use of digital imaging & electronic records. Work closely with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall growth and improvement of the practice. Responsibility for cleaning and maintaining own operatory Qualifications: Active Texas Hygienist license required Current BLS/CPR certifications Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience
