We are a private dental office seeking an additional dental assistant to join our growing, close-knit dental team. We are hiring for either full-time or part-time work Tuesday-Friday from 8AM-5PM. We value a great work/life balance for all team members. We block out one-hour lunches, offer paid CE, paid vacation, and some paid holidays. We use state of the art technology that include CBCT, digital x-rays, digital records, 3D scanner, CEREC, laser and more. Responsibilities • Maintain the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and teamwork • Always promote the good qualities of other team members and the doctor to the patients in and outside of the practice • Have a strong commitment to educate patients and provide high quality care • Encourage patients to take advantage of our treatment options and technologies • Help patients feel comfortable while ensuring they receive adequate time and attention for the procedure you are performing • Perform and help with necessary office tasks to support the dental team • Be an active learner and willing to incorporate new techniques and technology into the practice • Become CEREC certified to assist doctor in making crowns • Perform regular inventory and order supplies as needed and maintain office equipment • Review the schedule and chart notes at beginning of day • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in patient records including up to date treatment plans • Collaborate with front desk to ensure patients are scheduled for next treatment including hygiene visits • Maintain strict compliance with all State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, FEHA, DOL, HR policies, and practices) Requirements • Degree/certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited college or technical school • Active and unrestricted dental assistant license issued by the state of Texas • Up to date with all CE requirements and other licensure requirements Preferences —CEREC crown design and/or crown processing experience —Experience assisting with implants, sleep dentistry, 3D Printing experience —SureSmile or Invisalign experience (placing attachments, records, photos, etc) —Nitrous certified — 2 years experience (willing to consider and train a motivated learner) —Open Dental experience Thank you for taking a few minutes to read about Sunrise Dentistry and this amazing dental assistant position!
