Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our family dental practice. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about dental care, possess excellent organizational skills, and be committed to providing exceptional patient experiences. Responsibilities: · Assisting the dentist during dental procedures by handing instruments and materials, anticipating the dentist's needs, and ensuring patient comfort. · Preparing treatment rooms for procedures by setting up instruments, equipment, and materials. · Taking and processing dental x-rays, as directed by the dentist. · Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols. · Providing patient education on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions. · Performing administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records. Qualifications: · Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent on-the-job training. · X-ray certification required. · Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. · Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. · Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. · Proficiency in dental software systems, preferably Eaglesoft. · Knowledge on Invisalign and Itero scanner.
