Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our team at TCCSC . As a Pediatric Dentist, you will play a vital role in providing specialized dental care to children and adolescents, ensuring their oral health needs are met with exceptional care and attention. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for pediatric patients. Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants. Diagnose and treat dental conditions in children, including cavities, gum disease, and malocclusions. Perform restorative procedures, such as fillings, crowns, and extractions, as needed. Collaborate with dental hygienists and dental assistants to ensure efficient patient care. Educate patients and their parents/guardians about proper oral hygiene and preventive measures. Create treatment plans tailored to each child's unique dental needs. Monitor and track patient progress, ensuring continuity of care. Address dental emergencies promptly and effectively. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry through continuing education. Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and ethical dental practice. Qualifications: Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school. Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program. Board certification in pediatric dentistry preferred. Current state dental license and DEA registration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children and their parents/guardians. Empathy and patience in dealing with pediatric patients and their families. Strong clinical skills and attention to detail. Commitment to staying updated on the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry. CPR and basic life support certification.
