We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our friendly team. Job Description: As a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), you will play a critical role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of our practice. You will assist our dentists during procedures, provide patient education, and perform a variety of other essential clinical and administrative duties. Key Responsibilities: -Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments by preparing and maintaining the treatment area, instruments, and equipment. -Sterilize dental instruments and ensure the office is clean and properly maintained. -Take dental X-rays, impressions, and other diagnostic images as needed. -Provide chairside support, including suctioning, retracting tissues, and handing instruments to the dentist. -Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care. -Prepare and assist in dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals. -Maintain patient records, update charts, and assist with scheduling appointments. -Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring the practice stays well-stocked. Qualifications: -Current RDA license in the state of GA. -CPR certification. -Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred. -Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. -Proficiency with dental equipment and X-ray machines. -Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. -Knowledge of infection control procedures and HIPAA regulations. -Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
