Description

Front Desk Coordinator with Dental Assisting Experience We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Dental Assistant & Hybrid Front Desk to join our team. This role combines administrative and clinical responsibilities, ensuring seamless patient experiences both at the front desk and in the treatment room. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service while also being able to assist chairside when the office gets busy. If you are organized, compassionate, and have dental assisting experience, we’d love to have you on our team! This is a patient focused office with a strong team. Our office is dedicated to patient care and built on a strong, supportive team. We're seeking a committed individual looking for a long-term position in a place they can truly call home. We are a fee-for-service practice operating up to 32 hours per week across 3.5 days. This position is best suited for individuals seeking a flexible work environment, as it is not recommended for those requiring additional hours. Key Responsibilities: Front Desk Duties: -Take New Patient phone calls -New Patient e-mail and/or text correspondence -Managing Broken Appointments and the ASAP list -Greet and check in and check-out patients with a warm and professional demeanor -Schedule and confirm appointments as well answer an efficient workflow -Handle insurance verification, billing, and patient payment processing -Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality -Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries in a timely manner -Take Photos of patients -Experience in Treatment planning and able to talk about payment plans -File Insurance and help with Collection efforts Dental Assisting Duties: -Trusted lieutenant to the Doctor -Scan with iTero -Pack Cord -Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process -Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per infection control protocols -Take and develop X-rays (if certified) and assist with impressions or scans -Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene best practices -Maintain inventory and stock supplies as needed Qualifications: -Previous experience in a dental front office role and chairside assisting required -Dental Assistant certification (if applicable) preferred -Strong communication and organizational skills -Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment -Proficiency in dental software (such as Dentrix) is a plus -Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude -Assertive and able to think outside of the box -Quick learner and can jump in accordingly -Detail orientated -Go getter and helping the practice achieve its goals Benefits -401k with match -PTO If you are a detail-oriented and patient-focused professional who can handle both front desk duties and occasional chairside assistance, we’d love to meet you!
