Contact email: [sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info] or [sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info] Insight Dental Care is an established general dentistry practice situated in the rapidly expanding Andorra/Roxborough PA area and we are seeking interviews for an upcoming DENTAL ASSISTANT opening. We are hiring for the following patient care shifts: Monday 8-12 Tuesday 1-5 (all day option) Wednesday 8-6 Thursday 8-5 This position comes with potential for growth in hours, responsibility, and subsequent compensation. Other than current X-ray and CPR certification, we will train & coach from your level and do not require advanced experience or skills. General Assistant Responsibilities Welcome & patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Experience as dental assistant >1 Year preferred X-Ray License is a must Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA) Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week Benefits: Simple IRA with 3% matching available Paid time off
