Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, organized, punctual Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients. Duties Greet patients as they enter and exit with energy and smiles! Check in patients, and check out as needed. Schedule appointments and manage the dental office schedule efficiently. Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Answer phone calls promptly in a warm and friendly manner, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary. Perform documentation review to ensure all patient information and insurance is complete and accurate. Follow up with patients if needed. Scan specialists reports. Check in Lab cases and schedule as needed. Attend to voicemail/emails throughout the day and respond or follow up in a timely fashion. Utilize office management software for scheduling, and patient communication. Keep Hygiene schedule full. Operate office equipment, including phone systems and computers, to facilitate daily operations. Requirements Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred. Proficiency in scheduling and familiarity with dental insurance processes. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a professional demeanor. Lifetime learner- willingness to learn new tasks and grow in their role. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Experience with office management software is a plus.
