Description

The candidate is responsible for working with the doctor, assisting with clinical procedures in the delivery of oral surgery care. Some responsibilities include taking x-rays, sterilizing instruments and clinical equipment, setting up clinical trays, coordinating laboratory services, maintaining the general appearance, cleanliness and organization of clinical areas. This individual must have good communication skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities. We are looking for a team player who gets along well with others and enjoys helping people. The ideal candidate will have graduated from a medical or dental assisting program. A Surgical Technologist is also a qualified candidate for this position. Previous experience desired but not required. Knowledge of dental and medical terminology and anatomy is helpful. Radiology, Health and Safety Certification is required and Anesthesia assisting certification preferred. DANB certification needed, which must be passed within 6 months of hire. We would be willing to sign the right candidate up for online class and sponsor the cost of the exam. Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7:45 am to 5:00 pm, Lunch 12:00 - 1:00 Wednesday, Friday 7:45 am to 12:00 pm Paid Holidays, Vacation and Sick Time We offer a very competitive compensation package that would be discussed at the time of interview.
