Description

We are looking for a full-time Hygiene Schedule Coordinator to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the hygiene appointment schedule, ensuring optimal patient flow, and facilitating smooth communication between the hygiene team and other office staff. This role plays a vital part in delivering excellent patient care by ensuring timely and efficient scheduling, while also supporting the dental office's operational needs. Responsibilities: - Manage and organize patient appointments for the hygiene team, ensuring an efficient schedule that maximizes productivity of our hygienists. - Review and update patient schedules to minimize gaps, overbooking, or conflicts. - Confirm and reschedule appointments as necessary, while providing excellent customer service. - Prepare the hygiene schedule for the upcoming week and communicate any changes to the hygiene team. - Communicate with patients to confirm, reschedule, or remind them of upcoming hygiene appointments. - Answer patient inquiries related to hygiene appointments, such as appointment times, preparation instructions, and insurance details. - Handle cancellations and ensure re-scheduling is completed promptly. Qualifications Experience: - Prior experience in dental office administration or patient scheduling preferred. - Familiarity with Open Dental office management system is a plus. Skills and Abilities: - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information. - A positive, patient-oriented attitude. - Being fluent in Spanish is a plus.
