Job Title: Bilingual Dental Front Desk Receptionist** Location: The Woodlands / Conroe, TX (77384) We are seeking a Bilingual Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage patient schedules, and assist with administrative tasks while being fluent in both English and Spanish. This role is vital in ensuring a smooth patient experience from the moment they walk through the door until their appointment is completed. Key Responsibilities: - Greeting and Check-in: Welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and over the phone, ensuring that all check-in procedures are followed accurately. - Appointment Scheduling: Manage patient schedules efficiently, handling appointment bookings, rescheduling, cancellations, and reminders for appointments, both in-person and via phone calls. - Bilingual Communication: Provide translation assistance for patients who speak Spanish, ensuring they understand all necessary information regarding appointments, treatment plans, and office policies. - Insurance Verification: Verify insurance information, prepare and submit claims, and follow up with insurance companies for payment and claim status. - Patient Records Management: Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system, including patient information, treatment history, and financial details, while ensuring HIPAA compliance. - Billing and Payments: Collect payments, process billing, and explain patient charges clearly. Provide patients with receipts and resolve any billing inquiries. - Customer Service: Address patient inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a courteous and professional manner, escalating issues as needed. - Multitasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including phone calls, patient check-ins, and appointment coordination, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. - Administrative Support: Assist with general office duties, such as filing, maintaining patient forms, organizing documents, and supporting the dental team with other tasks as needed. -Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain an organized, tidy workspace, handle multiple phone lines, schedule appointments, and manage patient data in an organized manner. - Professional Telephone Etiquette: Ability to handle a high volume of calls, provide excellent phone service, direct calls to the appropriate personnel, and answer inquiries confidently. -Knowledge of Dental Terminology: Familiarity with basic dental terminology and procedures to help communicate effectively with patients and staff regarding treatments, insurance, and appointments. Qualifications: - Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training in dental office management is a plus. - Experience: Previous experience working as a front desk receptionist in a dental or healthcare environment preferred. - Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required. Strong communication skills are essential. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Open Dental software, or similar platforms). - Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a calm, helpful, and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment. - Organization: Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, maintaining a high standard of accuracy. - Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve patient issues and inquiries in a positive and efficient manner.
