Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our Orthodontic practice. Our practice locations are in Fairfield and Oxford Ohio, open Monday through Wednesday. Responsibilities • Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures. • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to safety protocols. • Take X-rays as needed, ensuring quality images for diagnosis. • Manage patient records using computer software, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate documentation. • Changing wires, bracket debonding, preparing for bracket bonding. • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. • Utilize 3D scanners for creating digital impressions of patients' teeth • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and positive patient experience. • Operating 3d printers to prepare retainers and aligners. • Answering phone calls • Cross training with billing/new patient exams Requirements Education: • High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: • Previous experience in dental or orthodontic assisting is preferred, but we will train a hardworking, positive-minded applicant who is a team player and willing to learn.
