We are a privately-owned, single-doctor dental practice in search of a self-motivated, reliable, hard-working dental hygienist with a great personality, excellent work ethic, and team player with positive and upbeat attitude. We focus on creating trustworthy long-term relationships with coworkers and patients, and delivering high-quality dentistry. We welcome new graduates. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Educating patients in all aspects of oral health to provide a better understanding of prevention methods and restorative needs Proficiently taking diagnostic radiographs & panoramic images Completing periodontal screening and regular prophylaxis Explaining treatment recommendations Sealants placement Laser treatment Keeping accurate patients' records Properly sterilizing instruments Performing other duties as required to support the office during downtime Schedule: Monday (8 am - 4 pm), Tuesday (8 am - 4 pm), and Thursday (8 am - 1 pm) Appointment time: Adult prophylaxis 1hr, new patient 1.5 hr, SRP 1.5 hr (non-accelerated / non-assisted hygiene) Requirements: Knowledge in Dentrix software (preferred) Job Type: Part-time License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist
