Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with at least 12 months of chairside assisting experience in general dentistry. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in assisting with a variety of dental procedures, be bilingual (preferred), and demonstrate a pro-active, solution oriented, 'can-do', team attitude. As a key member of our dental team, you will play an important role in providing excellent patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the back-office processes run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: * Greet and assist patients warmly, embodying our core values of Integrity and Professionalism. * Assist the dentist during a variety of general dental procedures, including but not limited to exams, fillings, extractions, and restorations. * Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before, during, and after procedures. * Take accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) following state regulations. * Manage patient flow and ensure an organized and clean environment. * Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout their visit. * Maintain patient records and update medical histories as necessary. * Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, updating emergency contacts, and ensuring accurate charting. * Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control procedures. * Support and train new dental assistants or team members, with potential for leadership and oversight duties. * Help monitor and maintain inventory levels for dental supplies and equipment. * Provide excellent patient care and promote a positive patient experience. Qualifications: * 12 months of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant in a general dentistry setting. * Current RDA license in the state of Texas. * Current CPR certification. * Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols. * Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, etc) and radiography equipment. * Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus, but not required. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to multi-task and maintain a calm and organized workspace.
