Our multi-specialty private dental practice is seeking a skilled dental assistant to join our pediatric and orthodontic team. The ideal candidate would be coachable, a team player and self motivated. This is an amazing opportunity for a career minded professional. There is opportunity for career growth with cross training on our general dentistry team. Our office offers full time hours, competitive pay, 401k and PTO. Responsibilities will include: Assist the doctor using 4 handed dentistry during a variety of general treatment procedures - Set up and breakdown operatories - Take dental radiographs (X-ray certification required) - Manage infection control - prepare instruments and equipment- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental procedures - Excellent communication skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Strong organizational skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Detail-oriented
