Description

We are seeking a friendly & skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, conducting oral examinations, collaborating with the dentist, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. This is an initially part-time position transitioning into a full-time position with regular office hours within 3 months. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills with ability to collaborate well with team members. Responsibilities: - Perform dental cleanings and remove plaque and tartar buildup - Conduct oral examinations to identify any signs of dental diseases or abnormalities - Take and develop dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes - Administer local anesthesia as necessary (if licensed) - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations - Work together with the dentist to present areas of concern to patients - Update and maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical record systems (Eaglesoft) - Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar - Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff Experience: - 2 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are also welcome! - Proficiency in using Eaglesoft software for patient management - Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, and medical imaging software is a plus - Knowledge of aseptic technique, medical records management, infection control procedures, and pediatric dentistry We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications. This is an initially part-time position transitioning into a full-time position with regular office hours.
