We are a small, privately owned family dental practice looking for a part-time hygienist. We are focused on providing our patients with the best quality dental care. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health care and provide a positive, caring experience. We are currently looking for a hygienist for Monday and Thursdays. Pay rate will be determined based on experience. Dental Hygienist Job Responsibilities: Promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, SRP, PMT, taking radiographs, charting conditions of decay and disease, and performing procedures in compliance with the standard of dental care. Maintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments. Completes adult and child prophylaxis, Scaling and Root Planning, periodontal maintenance, and applying sealants. Maintains CPR certification, provided by the office. Educates patients on oral health and home care. Schedules the patient for recall treatment. Records BP and updates medical history. Writes thorough notes for both hygiene and exam. Maintains patient confidence and protects patient confidentiality. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
