Dream Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a registered dental hygienist. We strive to provide the highest level of care and experience to our families. Must be a team player, great communicator and patient with children. Must be comfortable seeing medically compromised children and those with special needs. Open Dental experience and Spanish speaking a plus. Position averages 16 hours per week ( Monday and Friday 7:45am- 5pm), sometimes busier during the summer and holiday seasons. Job Type: Part Time KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform dental cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealant applications for pediatric patients Educate children and their parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Take and process dental X-rays as needed Assess patients’ oral health and document findings for the dentist Assist the dentist with pediatric procedures as required Provide a warm, friendly, and calming environment to reduce dental anxiety in young patients Maintain sterilization and infection control standards for all dental instruments and equipment Stay updated on pediatric dental hygiene best practices and industry standards
