Front Office Administrator We are seeking a self-driven, highly organized and detail-oriented Front Office Administrator to join our dental practice. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk by managing patient interactions, verifying insurance, presenting treatment plans, and maintaining efficient administrative processes. The ideal candidate is customer-service driven, possesses strong communication skills, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. --- Key Responsibilities: • Patient Coordination & Front Desk Management • Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional demeanor. • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar. • Confirm upcoming appointments and follow up with patients regarding treatment acceptance. • Ensure a welcoming and organized reception area. Insurance & Financial Coordination • Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility before appointments. • Submit insurance claims and track payments or denials. • Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities. • Process payments, set up financial arrangements, and follow up on outstanding balances. Treatment Plan Presentation • Collaborate with the dentist to present treatment plans to patients. • Clearly explain treatment options, associated costs, and payment options. • Address patient concerns and assist them in making informed decisions. • Proven ability to gain treatment plan acceptance and follow office process for presenting treatment Administrative & Compliance Duties • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental software (Open Dental). • Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. • Oversee office supply inventory and order necessary materials. • Support team communication and assist with daily office workflow to maintain efficiency. --- Qualifications & Skills • Experience in a dental office preferred (minimum 5 years). • Knowledge of insurance verification, claim processing, and billing. • Proficiency in dental practice management software (Open Dental). • Strong understanding of dental terminology and treatment procedures. • Exceptional customer service and communication skills. • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a team-oriented environment. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. --- If you are an energetic, detail-oriented professional with a passion for patient care and organization, we encourage you to apply and become a valued member of our office family!
