We are a privately owned family dentist & orthodontist office HIRING for a BILINGUAL, PART-TIME GENERAL DENTAL ASSITANT (ORTHO EXPERIENCE a plus). We cherish our patients therefore we focus on patient satisfaction. Our motivated future team member must be positive & make every dentist visit enjoyable for our patients. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet patients & families with a smile Provide excellent patient care Take X-ray diagnostics Assist the dentist Conducting patient chart audits Maintain & check patient information Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including flexibility, priority setting, problem solving & conflict resolutions Maintain highly positive attitude Utilize time & complete tasks in a timely & efficient manner SKILLS: Knowledge of dental instruments & sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Experience using Open Dental Excellent communication & people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma or equivalent Additional certification or training is a plus QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual (English & Spanish) required Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Active State Dental Assisting license 2+ years of hands-on Dental Assistance experience. Ortho experience a PLUS.
