We are a private practice office in near Fort Worth/Arlington Border. Doctor from same community of practice - Community service oriented. Benefits Paid Holiday Paid Time Off 401k with match Employee discount, professional development opportunity Qualifications 1 years minimum of continuous RDA preferred Must have active CPR and State license to apply High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Responsibilities Cross trained for front office duties Effectively place sealants under supervision of Dr. Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Oversee inventory ordering and make sure inventory is in stock Oversee lab cases and make sure cases are ready for shipment and intake Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments and recare as directed Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Assist in training as needed Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Office Hours Monday 9:00 -5 :00 pm Tuesday 8:30-5:00 pm Wednesday 9-5:00 pm Thursday 9- 5 pm Friday by appointment. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 per week
