Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Paperless charts, digital x-rays, and 3D intraoral scanning Helpful and friendly dental team We're seeking an experienced, energetic Dental Assistant who will work closely with our dentists to create a comfortable patient environment. The Dental Assistant must be detail-oriented and possess strong oral health knowledge, and will regularly perform cleaning, setting the operatory, take X-rays, assist in dental/surgical procedures, fabricating temporaries, etc. Responsibilities include: Cleaning and setting the operatory Assisting the doctor in dental and surgical procedures Scrub, rinse, and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment Greet and seat the patients Obtain vital signs Dental/periodontal charting (Dentrix) Collect dental information from patient records Keep the office clean and organized Take diagnostic x-rays Fabricate temporary crown/bridges Take impressions and pouring/trim stone models Explain procedures and post-operative instructions to patients Friendly and good teamwork Punctual and ready to work Coronal polishing Intraoral scanning (Medit Scanner) Bilingual a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Paid time off Wellness program Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Ability to Relocate: Houston, TX 77024: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
