Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, NE is hiring for an Adjunct Instructor / Registered Dental Hygienist to support and develop the clinical curriculum to provide dental students with a broad spectrum of experiences in the treatment of the dental patient within an educational setting. This is a 10-month position following the University schedule. Will work with a team of dedicated faculty and leaders who are building on a rich legacy of excellence in dental education and expanding our capacity as a national resource for the dental profession. Primary appointment will be in the department of Periodontics. Must possess a current Dental Hygienist License. Instruct dental students in preclinical labs and the evaluation of patients’ periodontal classification and evaluate on proper use of instruments, scaling, patient education, and quality of care. Assist students with Board preparations. Consult with students on appropriate treatment and follow-up care. Monitor infection control.
