Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist that will play a vital role in providing exceptional preventive oral care to our patients. The ideal candidate is committed to improving patient oral health and detail-oriented. Responsibilities: *Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling and root planing *Take and develop dental x-rays *Apply preventive treatment such as fluoride and sealants to protect teeth from cavities *Conduct patient screenings for oral diseases including periodontal disease *Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and diet to maintain optimal oral health *Assist dentist with examinations and perform adjunctive procedures as directed *Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, documenting procedures performed, observations made during appointments *Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines to ensure a safe clinical environment * Sterilize dental instruments *Maintain the cleanliness of dental equipment and examination room *Work closely with dentist and team staff to provide high-quality care *Communicate patient findings to the dentist and collaborate on treatment plans when necessary *Ensure patient comfort and provide compassionate care addressing any concerns and or questions Requirements: *RDH License in the state of New Jersey Salary: *$40-$52 commensurate with experience
