RESPONSIBILITIES: The job responsibilities of this Front Office Scheduler include, but are not limited to: ● Support front office operations, including greeting patients, answering phones, and ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out experience. ● Present and discuss treatment plans with patients, ensuring they understand their options and feel confident in their decisions. ● Guide patients through financial discussions, including payment options and third-party financing, while maintaining the integrity of a fee-for-service practice. ● Schedule treatment efficiently to optimize the provider’s schedule and minimize gaps. ● Follow up on pending or incomplete treatment plans to encourage case acceptance and keep patients on track with their care. ● Process payments and maintain financial arrangements, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all transactions. QUALIFICATIONS: Required ● High school diploma or equivalent ● Strong ability to build rapport and clearly communicate treatment plans and financial options ● Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor ● Proficient computer skills and knowledge Preferred ● 2+ years in a dental or medical office, preferably in treatment or scheduling ● Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and fee-for-service insurance processes. ● Awareness of holistic dental concepts and biological dentistry ● Ability to engage in patient education and treatment follow-ups Desired ● Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and fee-for-service insurance processes. ● Experience with treatment coordination or dental assisting ● Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental software ● Experience with tracking case acceptance and optimizing scheduling efficiency ● Experience as a dental assistant
