We are currently seeking a professional, organized, and people-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk / Insurance Coordinator. Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for patients, both in person and over the phone, providing a warm and professional welcome. Schedule patient appointments and manage the office schedule efficiently, ensuring minimal wait times and smooth patient flow. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with enthusiasm, professionalism, and accuracy. Verify and manage patient insurance information, ensuring accuracy for billing and insurance purposes. File insurance claims and follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate payments. Communicate with patients regarding insurance benefits, billing procedures, and payment options. Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collect payments from patients and assist in payment plan options when needed. Assist with various administrative duties as needed to ensure the smooth daily operation of the office. Qualifications: Professional & Personable: Must be able to match the energy of our patients—whether it's a cheerful greeting over the phone or a comforting presence in person. Experience: Previous experience in a dental office setting, particularly in front desk or insurance coordination, is preferred. Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and ensure accuracy in patient records, insurance claims, and billing. Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure that the office runs efficiently and patients are attended to promptly. Technology Savvy: Familiarity with dental office management software and insurance claim processes. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with patients, insurance companies, and team members.
