We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our team. Job Description: As the Lead Dental Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. You will lead a team of dental assistants while providing exceptional clinical support during procedures, managing patient care, and maintaining a clean and organized treatment area. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a team of dental assistants to ensure smooth daily operations Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including surgeries and treatments Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Manage patient flow and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit Perform X-rays and other diagnostic procedures Educate patients on proper oral care and post-treatment instructions Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments Order and manage dental supplies and inventory Provide training and mentorship to new dental assistants Qualifications: Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and/or relevant state certification required Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage and motivate a team Proficiency in dental software and technology Attention to detail, organized, and proactive Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients
