Job Title: Dental Assistant (Floater) Location: 1011 Hwy 6 S. Suite #300 Houston, TX 77077 Job Type: Full-time Overview: We are seeking a motivated and flexible Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be open to floating between different departments, assisting with a variety of dental procedures, and providing excellent patient care across multiple treatment areas. If you’re passionate about dentistry and ready to take on a versatile role, this is the opportunity for you! Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including fillings, cleanings, extractions, and more. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all materials are ready for patient care. Provide chairside support to dentists in different specialties (general, invisalign, endodontics, etc.). Take X-rays as needed. Educate patients on proper dental hygiene and care instructions. Manage patient records and ensure proper documentation. Float between different departments, offering support wherever needed. Help with patient flow, ensuring smooth transitions between appointments. Sterilize and maintain equipment according to OSHA and infection control protocols. Qualifications: Dental Assistant certification. Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a plus. Familiarity with dental software and office procedures. Ability to float between departments and adapt to different roles. Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
