Description

Privately owned orthodontic practice with 2 locations in Canton and Woodstock. We are growing and as one of our assistant is expecting to leave to maternity leave, we are looking to add an additional rockstar experienced orthodontic assistant to our growing practice. Responsibilities: - Sterilization: Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for procedures - Records: Take and develop dental x-rays and other medical imaging as directed by the orthodontist - Take Impressions and fabricate essix retainers - Assist the orthodontist with various dental procedures and treatments - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care - Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records using cloud 9. - Collaborate with the orthodontist and other team members to ensure efficient workflow Monday - Thursday 8:00 am -5:00 pm Requirements: - Experience in orthodontics - Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including children and adolescents - Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
