We are a privately owned Dental practice in the Duluth area who strive to provide a comprehensive approach to dental care that emphasizes the importance of building strong relationships with patients and providing individualized care. We are looking for a teammate to provide high-quality, patient-centered care that helps our patients achieve optimal oral health and overall wellness. RESPONSIBILITIES: Be an integral partner in the assessment and management of oral health for all patients Perform clinical oral hygiene procedures per the treatment plan developed by the dentist including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, as well as fluoride applications Take detailed digital notes of all pertinent appointment details ie. What was done during the visit, personal anecdotes patient shared, treatment planning, etc Schedule patient recare appointment Provide oral health education and counseling to patients. Develop excellent interpersonal relationships with patients. Great organizational and time management skills to remain on schedule. Perio charting 60 minute prophylaxis appointments, 90-120 minute scaling and root planings MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current state of Georgia RDH license and certification from an accredited dental hygiene school. Enthusiastic, Self-Motivated, and Dependable Superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to all patients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of Eaglesoft software not mandatory, but willingness to master it Ability to capture quality digital x-rays and ableness and willingness to learn new programs as necessary. iTero scanning experience is a plus! Most importantly, you must have an excellent attitude, be a team player, and willing to learn and grow with our office! Currently needing one day a week, but can be flexible on the day depending on your need
