Dental Assistant Position Available Location: Eldridge Dental Office (Near Little York and Eldridge Parkway)Additional Hours Available: Sugar Land Office (Optional) We are excited to welcome a dedicated and motivated individual to join our dental family! We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support our team in both general and surgical dental procedures. Position Details: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred. Typical work schedule is 30+ hours per week. Additional hours are available at our Sugar Land office for those seeking expanded opportunities. Salary commensurate with experience. Primary Responsibilities: Assist the dentist with chairside procedures, ensuring efficient and effective patient care. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment. Collect and accurately record patient health histories. Manage patient comfort and care during dental procedures. Perform instrument transfer and dental procedure isolation techniques. Prepare dental materials such as cements, amalgam, composite, and impression materials. Conduct accurate dental charting. Oversee prevention and management of dental emergencies. Maintain inventory control and supply management. Educate patients and the community about oral hygiene and dental care. Provide patients with personalized oral care instructions. Preferred Qualifications: Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred to better serve our diverse patient community.
