REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT – full time position Sulphur Springs Dental is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team! We are looking for a very experienced, fast-paced, and knowledgeable Dental Assistant who is up to date with advanced dental technology. We are looking for someone who: • Is respectable inside and outside of the work place • Is dependable and very self-motivated • Is passionate about the growth of the practice • Is well-organized and detail-oriented • Is a quick learner • Works well with others • Has effective verbal skills to communicate with patients. • Is an efficient multitasker • Is personable Some of the Job Duties include: • Assist the dentist during procedures including exams, fillings, extractions, implants, suresmile and more. • Taking digital X-rays. • Taking accurate dental impressions for diagnostic and restorative procedures. • Proper note-taking and charting in patient records to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Sterilization of instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and clean environment. • Assisting with same-day crowns using the CEREC machine (including scanning, designing, and milling). • Making temporary crowns and ensuring proper fit and function for patients. • Working with the Prime Scanner to capture digital impressions. • Providing chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures. • Educating patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene best practices. PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS: • RDA certified • CPR certified • Licensed to monitor nitrous oxide • Experience with CEREC and Prime Scanner technology preferred. • Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols. • Experience with Dentrix is a plus.
