Job Title: Dental Assistant Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality oral healthcare to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and hygienists, ensuring efficient patient care and maintaining a clean and organized dental practice. Responsibilities: - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take dental x-rays - Sterilize instruments and equipment - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices - Maintain accurate patient records - Schedule appointments and handle billing and payment processes - Perform dental receptionist duties as needed Skills: - Proficiency in dental coding - Experience with Dentrix software - Strong dental assisting skills - Knowledge of dental terminology - Familiarity with medical documentation - Understanding of anatomy - Adherence to infection control protocols Joining our team as a Dental Assistant offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where patient care is paramount.
