We are looking for a dynamic, professional, and organized individual to join our team as a Dental Receptionist/Hygiene Coordinator. This position is key to ensuring our practice runs smoothly while delivering top-notch service to our patients. Job Description: As a Dental Receptionist/Hygiene Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing them with exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, and assisting with the smooth operation of the dental office. You will also work closely with our dental hygiene team to coordinate patient care and ensure that patients are scheduled for cleanings and other treatments as needed. Responsibilities: Greet and check in patients with a friendly, professional demeanor. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments for dental exams, cleanings, and treatments. Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and provide information about dental services. Coordinate with dental hygienists to manage their schedules and ensure efficient patient flow. Verify patient insurance information and process necessary paperwork. Assist in maintaining patient records and updating information as required. Collect and process patient payments, including co-pays and outstanding balances. Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience. Handle administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and organizing patient charts. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education or certification in dental assisting or office administration a plus. Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of dental terminology and basic dental procedures is a plus. Proficiency in dental office software (Dentrix) is a plus. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well with patients of all ages.
