We are a growing practice looking for a dedicated individual to join our amazing team. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized, personable, and detail-oriented Dental Front Office Coordinator/Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front office, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our clinical team. Responsibilities: *Patient Reception and Check-in/Check-out: Greet patients warmly and professionally, verify insurance information, update patient records accurately, and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently. *Appointment Scheduling and Management: Answer phone calls promptly and courteously, schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage the appointment book effectively, and handle appointment changes and cancellations. *Communication and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized patient records, handle patient correspondence (emails, phone calls), and relay messages to the appropriate team members. *Office Organization and Maintenance: Ensure the front office area is clean, organized, and welcoming. Manage office supplies and equipment. *Financial Transactions: Process payments, generate daily reports, and maintain accurate financial records. *Treatment Coordination: Present treatment plans and financial options to patients (if applicable and trained). Other Duties: Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the practice. Qualifications: *High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or relevant coursework preferred. *1 year of experience in a dental front office setting is preferred. *Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes. *Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental - specify if you use a particular software). *Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. *Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. *Attention to detail and accuracy. *Professional appearance and demeanor. *Ability to maintain patient confidentiality. *Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach. *Our focus each day is on taking care of our patients.
