Join Our Team! We are an established private practice in General, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry in (northwest) Houston, TX. Seeking skilled and energetic Registered Dental Assistant with 2 plus years of proven hands-on experience to join our team. Candidate must be dependable, self-motivated, competent, capable, FLEXIBLE and a team player with a professional attitude. This open position is for a FLEXIBLE Dental Assistant that will work as a floater with the back-office team. The back-office team consists of two Doctors, two Dental Assistants and a dedicated Hygiene Dental Assistant. Your day-to-day work responsibilities will depend on the workload and the prioritized need for each day. Core job responsibilities include preparing and cleaning treatment rooms; escorting patients to the back and returning them to check-out; sterilizing instruments; stocking operatories; updating patient records; assisting; suctioning; and taking x-rays. Candidate should have experience with packing cords, taking impressions, and making temporaries. Candidate should have some Dentrix experience. Candidate that is bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus. Pay range is between $18 to $25 an hour depending on experience and capability. Average work week is 32 hours a week. Candidate's travel time to and from the Dental Office should not be more than 30 minutes. Lakewood Dentistry operates at an accelerated pace as compared to most dental offices.
