Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where your attention to detail and positive attitude make a real difference? Are you the type of person who sees what needs to be done and jumps in — not for the credit, but for the team? You genuinely want your doctor and your team to succeed — and you take pride in doing your part to make that happen. If you're calm under pressure, value growth, and want to be part of a supportive, holistic dental practice, we’d love to meet you. Our ideal Registered Dental Assistant is: ● Patient-focused. You help patients feel safe, cared for, and understood — not just treated. Clinically strong. You’re proactive, efficient, and anticipate what’s needed before it’s asked. You help procedures run smoothly and give the doctor the support they need to do their best work. ● Detail-oriented. You document thoroughly, follow protocols, and take pride in clean, well-prepared rooms and quality care. ● A team player. You work well with other assistants, communicate clearly, and enjoy contributing to shared success. ● Supportive. You want your doctor and your team to succeed. You’re reliable, responsible, and understand that every detail you handle helps the whole practice shine. As a biological, fee-for-service dental practice, we prioritize high-quality care, prevention, and patient education. Our clinical assistant team plays a key role in helping the doctor deliver excellent dentistry, supports patients with warmth and clarity during procedures, and keeps clinical operations running efficiently through preparation, documentation, and teamwork. If you bring a warm, steady presence to the clinical space, take pride in helping patients feel informed and cared for, and enjoy contributing to a team that values excellence and collaboration, we’d love to meet you! RESPONSIBILITIES: The job responsibilities of this Registered Dental Assistant include, but are not limited to: ● Provide proactive, high-level chairside support by anticipating the doctor’s needs and staying fully engaged throughout each procedure ● Support excellent patient care by preparing patients for treatment, offering clear communication, and ensuring their comfort throughout the visit ● Ensure all labs and supplies are ready and available by maintaining clinical inventory, preparing needed materials, and keeping treatment areas organized ● Take diagnostically accurate radiographs and intraoral photos and upload them properly to support clinical decision-making ● Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms in compliance with OSHA and infection control standards ● Document thorough and accurate treatment notes by the end of each appointment, including updated medical history and any relevant observations QUALIFICATIONS: Required ● Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Texas ● X-ray certification ● CPR & First Aid certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire) ● Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor ● Proficient computer skills and ability to learn digital systems Preferred ● 2+ years of experience assisting in a dental office ● Experience assisting in surgical procedures (extractions, bone grafting, implant placement) ● Familiarity with iTero or other digital scanning systems ● Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar practice management software Desired ● Experience with 3D printing ● Experience assisting with sedation procedures ● Interest in or awareness of biological dentistry and holistic health concepts
