Benefits: Offering Competitive Pay that is based on experience Monthly Bonus Opportunities Paid Time Off Health Insurance - 50% paid by employer In House Dental and Ortho Benefits 401k + matching Referral Program Qualifications & Certifications required: -Active Texas RDA certification -Current CPR certification -N2O monitoring certification (If applicant does not have certification we allow 30 days after hire to obtain certificate) -Coronal Polishing Certificate (If applicant does not have certification we allow 90 days after hire to obtain certificate) As a dental assistant you will assist in delivering outstanding care and experiences for our patients. Responsibilities: Ensure quality patient service by providing thorough patient care, effective communication and personal attention. Prepare the treatment rooms, patient records, equipment and necessary instruments for dental procedures Provide chairside assistance to the doctor including but not limited to basic and complex restorative, surgical, endodontic, pediatric, emergency and preventative dental procedures Record accurate and concise patient and treatment information for clinical notes Take dental radiographs (x-rays) Provide patients with instructions for oral care prior to and following surgery or other dental treatment procedures Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health Monitor inventory and ordering of dental supplies.
