Let’s do something amazing together. ❤️ Requirements and Skills: 2 years of dental hygiene experience is preferred, but new graduates will be considered.\ Passionate about their profession and learning Outgoing, compassionate, kind, and personable A team player An exceptional communicator A desire to educate and proactively provide solutions to our patients Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills. Ability to use dental instruments safely and effectively Deep understanding of dental health and safety regulations High school diploma required; completion of an accredited dental hygiene program is mandatory. Must pass the pre-employment examination. Drug testing required. Background check required. Key Responsibilities: Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Practices universal precautions and other sterilization and infection control procedures, and maintains equipment. Conduct initial mouth screenings, take x-rays, Itero scans, intraoral photos, and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis, and malocclusion Review patients’ dental history before providing dental treatment Communicate with patients regarding best oral health habits or dental concerns Informs patients on oral hygiene techniques, answers patient questions and provides other Educational information relevant to oral hygiene. Clean patients’ teeth by removing calcareous deposits Assist the dentist with minor procedures Provides associated administrative support, including maintaining patient documentation,patient communication and other record-keeping.
