Palmetto Family Dental is a family-based dental organization dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to our movie studio's community in Fayetteville. We are looking for an energetic, positive, and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our GROWING team and help us deliver exceptional oral healthcare services. Job Description: As a Dental Assistant at Palmetto Family Dental (Fayetteville), you will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting the dentist during various dental procedures. Preparing treatment rooms and equipment for patient examinations. Taking and developing dental x-rays. Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment. Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Recording patient information and treatment plans in electronic health records. Providing chairside support to dentists during procedures. Performing dental laboratory tasks such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns. Taking and recording patient medical and dental histories. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: Dental Assistant certification or equivalent. X-ray certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tasks. CPR certification is a plus.
